Windows 7 not updating

If the running version of WUA is too old or if WUA isn't running at all, install the most recent version of WUA (or at least a current version of WUA).

You might need to update drivers in Windows when a new piece of hardware you've installed doesn't work automatically or maybe after upgrading to a new version of Windows.

I have that on this w7 machine and it does not cause a problem with winup. Visit the winup site.1st, I get CCleaner installed because it seems to help. Then, I run the registry cleaner to fix what it finds.

As a test run never10 again and revert the changes. Then, I reboot and run the MS update tool which should return all "fix" in its columns.

An updated driver might enable new features for the hardware, something we see on a regular basis with popular video cards and sound cards.

Using fully updated Microsoft Security Essentials only3. Some folk use a VPN or proxy so they are special cases and not something I will write about ever.Windows Update Agent (WUA) automatically updates itself when it is connected to a Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server or to Windows Update. You can also use a signed installation package that is available from Microsoft to manually update WUA.Will then have Win 10 backup and Win 7 backup soswitch from one to the other as wished. You have a setup known to fail (item 4.) Sorry but between Wisecare and Never10 this PC is beyond my help.
