Wallpaper not updating in domain
Hi all, I have a little issue with new Windows 10 machines or Windows 10 upgraded machines in a network.I've added a couple of new machines to our domain - using the new Windows 10 specific Essentials Server 2012 connector (although I don't believe this is causing this issue) - but these workstations are unable to pull group policy items, specifically a drive mapping policy.(If the wallpaper updates after running that command, that's the problem).Going forward, you can deal with this by either following up a wallpaper change with a to all your clients, or by simply making a change in the GPO after a wallpaper change.
The picture you specified as wallpaper would be converted and saved as which is stored in %Appdata%\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes.Not sure where to look at this now, my brain is fried from staring at this for a couple of days now, so I could be missing the wood through the trees. Most of us enjoy displaying out favorite Desktop Background or Wallpaper on our Windows Desktop. Ensure that the Plugged in option is set to Available.
